This Thursday at 6:00 PM at Roosevelt High School we’ll be wrapping up a wonderful year of music making at our Spring Vocal Music Concert! Our students have put in such great work this year and we are thrilled to share it with you.

We will also be recognize our Seniors Thursday night, so come out and help us celebrate them and the years of dedication they’ve given to Roosevelt Choirs!

A HUGE congratulations to Da Capo on a great performance last night at Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships. The group took home 5th place in the state in 4A!

What a weekend it was for our Da Capo Vocal Jazz Ensemble!

On Saturday, the students participated in the Dallas-Center Grimes "Take Two" Jazz Choir competition and received 1st place in 4A! The group was also awarded Best Rhythm Section and Savannah Song was recognized with the Best Lyric Soloist award.

And before that, on Friday, the group received word that they were selected to participate in the finals of the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships! Acceptance to this event recognizes the group as one of the top 8 Jazz Choirs in the state of Iowa in 4A! They will perform alongside the other accepted schools on Wednesday, April 1st (no joke!) at Greene County High School.

A huge congratulations to these incredible students for all of their hard work!
