Twice a week during the school year, United Way's Book Buddies read with our Oak Academy students! This program doesn't just build reading skills, it builds relationships and real confidence among these young learners.

Happy from Oak Academy! Our Dinosaur classroom was outside working on their sustainable garden, created with materials they’ve been saving, recycling, and received as donations. Such a great activity to teach our students about how to take care of our planet!

Wrapped up Week of the Young Child with Artsy Thursday and Family Friday! On Thursday, our Snuggle Bug and Caterpillar classroom colored puzzle pieces for World Autism Month, and Friday, our Teddy Bear class wrote letters to mail home to their families. We can't wait for next year's activities!
