Last week, our cutest students had some special visitors! 🩺🚒

Each year, community helpers from the Des Moines area — many of whom are also GVCS parents — visit our Early Ed students to share about their careers and the ways they serve our community. This is always a highlight for our little learners as they get to meet these everyday heroes and learn more about the important work they do!

We are so grateful to each of these helpers for taking the time to invest in our students and make this such a special experience! 💛

Each year, our yearbook is dedicated to a staff member, couple, or family who has faithfully served at GVCS. 📖⚡️

This year, we are honored to dedicate the 2025–2026 yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. Worsham! Throughout their 21 years at GVCS, they have faithfully served in many different roles, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication, support, and the countless ways they have poured into our school community. Grand View simply wouldn’t be the same without them! 💚

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Worsham, and thank you for 21 years of faithful service to Grand View Christian School!

Youth Volleyball Night! 💚🏐

Our youngest volleyball players and students had such a sweet night getting to connect with our varsity volleyball players! They had the chance to talk, take pictures, and even get a poster signed by their favorite players.

We love seeing our older students pour into and encourage the younger generation. What a fun night filled with smiles, connection, and memories! 💚

Homecoming 2026 was one for the books! ⚡️

From dress-up days and the Thunder Walk to pod games and the Homecoming football game, the week was filled with smiles, laughter, school spirit, and memories we’ll treasure for years to come.

More than anything, Homecoming was a sweet reminder of what makes the Grand View family so special. We are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate, laugh, and make memories together with our youngest students all the way to our seniors. 💚

We kicked off Homecoming Day with one of the highlights of the year for our student body — the Thunder Walk! ⚡️💚

Our high school students lined the sidewalks and welcomed the Elementary students with plenty of school spirit as they made their way into school. It was such a fun morning celebrating Homecoming and bringing together students of all ages!

Don’t forget to join us for the Homecoming football game tonight at 7 p.m. at Saydel High School! We’ll see you there! ⚡️

Happy National Custodian Appreciation Day to our wonderful custodial + security team! ⚡️

Today, we’re celebrating the people who faithfully serve behind the scenes to help make GVCS a welcoming, clean, safe, and cared-for place for our students and staff each day.

Their quiet service, dedication, and leadership are a true blessing to our school community, and we are so grateful for all they do. We couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you for serving GVCS so faithfully! 💚
