Congratulations to our track and field team on a successful season! Many of our student athletes achieved new PRs, as well as several new school records! Thank you to our coaches for all their hard work this season.

Thank you to the lifeguards from Mount Rainier Pool for giving an important presentation about water safety!

6th grade took a field trip to watch the Tacoma Rainiers play! They had a great time cheering for some of the players whose batting averages and statistics they had worked on in math class.

Last Friday, our band students had the opportunity to perform with other area Lutheran grade school musicians, as well as the Evergreen Lutheran High School band. All of their hard work and practice paid off with a wonderful end of the year concert!

Holy Trinity welcomed poet and author, James Langston Jr. on Friday to share some of his poetry with us! We appreciate the time he took to share his gift of words with our students. We look forward to hosting him for a Poetry Night at HTLS next school year!

Congratulations to our first-place forensics team and our gold-medal winners, Liliana, Hoby, Aria, Kennedy, and Kidist!

Officer Lindner and Sgt. Job paid a special visit to the Preschool and Kindergarten students today! The children learned some very important safety tips and were able to view the police car up close. Thank you to our first responders!

Thank you to Mr. Jordan Beckman for teaching fourth graders about the history of the trumpet, the parts of the trumpet, how to build a trumpet, and how to play the trumpet. Mr. Beckman reminded us that God is in music, how trumpets and horns were used in the Old Testament, and the importance of paying attention to details, giving yourself grace as you learn something new, and consistency (practice) when learning something new and as life long learners. Thank you for sharing your God-given gifts to teach our students, show them how God really is in everything, and for your energy and enthusiasm as you encouraged and taught. What a treat to hear you play and to learn from you!
