Field Day is next FRIDAY! 🙂

At last Tuesday nights final meeting of the year, outgoing PAWS board members were honored for their time and dedication to growing a robust Partnership group that supports our school in so many ways.
Thank you Ka’Meka Lowery, Scott Finken and Jenny Howard.
Their hard work over the years has prepared the new board to take over comfortably.

First graders created a documentary of their learning about birds, chickens and plants. A great display showcasing their technology and communication skills.

Windsor welcomed back Roosevelt seniors to celebrate their upcoming graduation. Congratulations to All!

Windsor staff received a visit from Windsor Heights Wal Mart today. Wal Mart showed BIG TIME appreciation with gift bags for staff and a cake. Thank you for this generous and thoughtful recognition!

Author Charlotte Gunnufson shared her book Hard Hat Hank and the Sky-High Solution to our students. The characters showed collaboration, creativity, problem-solving and perseverance as they found ways to save a birds’s neat. The book and conversation connected to our literacy and science curriculum in many ways. Author Gunnufson also shared her career journey from working at Hardee’s to working with agents and editors to see her writing turned into books. Audience participation was a blast. Thank you, Charlotte for being a teacher.
