We are a fine arts focused child care center offering preschool curriculum & small class sizes with an additional teacher assigned to each classroom, going above & beyond by providing more staff than national & state requirements. to 6:00 p.m. - Monday thru Friday) and high quality child care with fine arts focus preschool curriculum for ages 2-5, afterschool for ages 5-11.

- Creative movement program including Spanish, dance, music and movement classes

- On-going portfolio assessment of each child

- Shaded playground and full gym with indoor playground for year-round physical activity.

💙 Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💙

Today, we are proud to celebrate Creative Center for Young Children (CCYC) and more than 35 years of caring for, teaching, and growing alongside young children and their families.

Since opening our doors in August of 1991, CCYC has been committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn, play, explore, and thrive. Over the years, countless children have made friendships, created masterpieces, discovered new interests, and developed a love of learning within our center.

Being a nonprofit allows us to keep our focus where it belongs—on children, families, and our community. ❤️

We are so grateful for the dedicated teachers and staff who give their hearts to this work, the families who entrust us with their children, and the supporters who believe in the importance of quality early childhood education.

For more than three decades, CCYC has been growing little minds, nurturing big hearts, and building a strong foundation for the future.

Our Van Gogh's got to go to Molly's Cupcakes and decorate their own cupcakes. They had a blast. We are also so thankful that we have the Central Library within walking distance from the center. Our Bach's and Mozart's got to enjoy some time there this week as well.
