The Violence Prevention Office will be hosting VIRTUAL MVP trainings over J-Term!

MVP is our peer lead bystander education program. In this training you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations that center on the social and cultural norms that contribute to harmful situations and environments. You will gain skills to be an active bystander and also discuss ways for you to assist others and learn about the best resources on campus.

Training will be offered Tuesday from 130-4p or Wednesday 930-12p. You will be able to pick the time that works best for you.

Help us support VIP and local domestic violence programs!

donate a $10 gas or grocery gift card to the Violence Prevention Office Today!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. VIP has partnered with Student Senate to host a GIFT CARD DRIVE for Children and Families of Iowa Domestic Violence Services.

Bring in a $10 gift card to local gas stations or grocery stores to be entered into a prize raffle! 2 individuals will be drawn as well as a prize for the organization with the most donations.

Drop gift cards off at the Violence Prevention Office (secure mailbox) inside Olmsted or contact [email protected] for pick up. Label with your name and group (if affiliated).
