Bar speed is the focus here(obviously). Our goal is to recruit more type 2 muscle fibers to the given area. Rest period wise, we are looking at a minute between sets OR when you feel 100% recovered from the previous set(we are in no rush, plus your energy systems will thank you).

Over speed Eccentrics
Trying to work on Reversal speed strength. The goal today was to make each rep look the same and maintain bar speed through each and every rep.
Really looking forward to seeing all the athletes I was able to be a small part of their journey to getting ready to play this year!

Continuing to see great carry over into my conventional deadlifts from building hip strength due to working on sumo positioning for several months.
We contrasted this movement this morning with Speed Rack Pulls at 45% plus a purple band.
At the end of the day we want to be able to produce maximal force output into all movements when needed. By using the contrasting method we recruit more type 2 muscle fibers to the area and are forced to maintain a high quality of movement in order to provide the best outcome.

Kansas High School Baseball needs to be on the lookout for this guy to be doing some damage this year! Luke put the work in and saw some big time increases this off season. In his recent showcase Luke had the highest Velo across the infield at 82 🔥🔥 Don’t sleep on this guy with bat or on the base paths either, exit velo this off season went up by 7+mph 🔥🔥Expecting big things from this guy this year with the Derby Panthers.
