Jesper Møller Sørensen, Denmark’s Ambassador to the United States, visited Grand View for a reception, dinner, and fireside chat in the Henning Student Center before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at an Iowa Cubs game. Lynette Rasmussen moderated the discussion with Ambassador Sørensen.
On Saturday, President Keck was honored to serve as Honorary Grand Marshal for the 2026 Tivoli Fest Parade alongside Danish Ambassador Jesper Møller Sørensen and his daughter, Marie.
Thank you, Ambassador Sørensen, for your meaningful visit, thoughtful conversation, and continued friendship with the Grand View community. We were honored to welcome you to campus and celebrate our shared Danish heritage together!
