We had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines Annual Celebration Luncheon. This beautiful event highlighted the incredible impact the Community Foundation and its partners have had across the Des Moines community. We were especially grateful to attend alongside our admin team, three infant and toddler teachers, and three board members. We are truly thankful to be a part of this organization. Through their endowment, Colleague Connect, GiveDSM, and charitable giving funds, we have been generously supported and inspired by their continued commitment to our community.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team and our continued commitment to providing high quality care. By putting research-based practices into action, we are laying the foundation for children to succeed in futute learning and in life.
Although this is an incredible accomplishment, Conmigo is continuously striving for growth and is already working towards achieving the next highest rating!

The Conmigo team was honored to attend the LIVE United Annual Luncheon yesterday. In attendance were members of Conmigo administration, board administration including our President, Vice President, and Treasurer, and three of our lead teachers.
We are deeply grateful for the continuous support of United Way of Central Iowa and their incredible team. Their dedication to our community is truly inspiring and our work would not be possible without them.

We want to give a special thank you to United Way of Central Iowa Women United for the incredible support they have shown our center, our administration, and our amazing teachers! They have been a huge support for our team. They’ve supported us operationally, helped us recognize our staff, and even stepped in to assist with critical building needs.

On Friday their lovely volunteer surprised us with coffee, bagels, and t-shirts—the three best gifts you can give a teacher on a snowy morning.
Their generosity doesn’t stop there. Women United has funded over $62,000 toward building a new kitchen pantry and infant classroom, contributed nearly $27,500 for necessary building repairs, and continues to work with us on additional maintenance projects that are needed.
Women United’s commitment to Conmigo and our community is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t do what we do without them. Thank you, Women United, for being such a powerful force for good!
