Today, our Director of Development & Operations and Center Director had the opportunity to attend the Polk County Iowa and Prairie Meadows, Community Impact Luncheon. It was a wonderful celebration that highlighted the incredible impact made possible through this partnership, including recognition of our Community Betterment Grant award, which funded the beautiful restoration of our mural.

Events like these are both inspiring and uplifting. We truly value the chance to connect and network with other local organizations that share a commitment to strengthening and serving our community.

We struck gold today with our incredible volunteers!

As part of United Way of Central Iowa's Day of Action, we welcomed nearly 25 volunteers from companies that are committed to strengthening our community, including ONEOK, Inc., Sammons Financial Group Companies and Global Atlantic/KKR.
Although heavy rain threatened to derail our plans for Conmigo's playground refresh, our volunteers were true champions and didn't let the weather stop them. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, we accomplished an incredible amount of work, including trimming overgrown trees, clearing weeds, and beautifying our outdoor spaces.
We were also fortunate to have enough volunteers to tackle a major toy-cleaning project. With seasonal illnesses beginning to increase, their help allowed us to thoroughly clean and sanitize all toys in our six infant and toddler classrooms, creating a healthier environment for the children in our care.
The support of our volunteers is invaluable to our daily operations and to the families we serve. We are deeply grateful for the generosity, time, and energy these teams shared with us today. Thank you for giving back to our community and helping make a lasting impact at Conmigo!
