Our dojo family is beaming with pride after the 2025 U.S. Budo Karate Nationals in San Diego! Four of our own represented Traditional Karate Academy with heart, humility, and well-honed technique—and together they earned five gold, two silver, and one bronze medals!

Their victories, although exciting, are the results of something even bigger: the discipline, respect, and honor our senseis instill every day.

🥋 Huge thank you to WHO13 for sharing the incredible story of our talented students! 🥋

We’re beyond proud of our four Traditional Karate Academy athletes who recently returned from the World Traditional Karate Championship in Spain with one silver and three bronze medals! 🌍🏆

It’s truly inspiring to see our small Des Moines dojo shine on the world stage, representing our community with such dedication and skill. As Sensei Seth Rosendahl says, "they've put Iowa on the map in the world of traditional karate!" 👊

We hope this inspires even more young people to step onto the mat, train hard, and dream big!
