Yesterday, our school lost power because of an outage in the area. Since it was a beautiful, sunny day, Mrs. Apthorp decided to take the 3rd grade students outside for some fun. She brought out chalk and bubbles, and the students got creative. Some blew bubbles, some drew amazing pictures with chalk, and others played ball games. It was a wonderful example of outdoor play and a great way to make the most of an unexpected situation. Thank you, Mrs. Apthorp.
