Awards and Achievements:
*First 3 pairs of Unified Global Messengers in the state of Iowa are all students from Roosevelt
*Sent 1 Unified Pair to the Global Youth Summit at the SO World Games in Abu Dhabi
*1 Roosevelt pair became Global Messengers for Special Olympics North America
*Awarded the first ever Unified Varsity Letter winners in the state of Iowa
*First ever National Banner School in the state of Iowa
*Started the first Unified Sports team in all of DMPS
