A major milestone for DMPS!
Four groundbreaking ceremonies across Brody, McCombs, Goodrell, and Weeks this week are officially launching the first construction projects connected to Reimagining Education.
Community members gathered alongside students, staff, families, board members and elected leaders to celebrate new opportunities coming to schools throughout Des Moines.
Upcoming CTE Maker Spaces will support healthcare pathways, digital technology experiences, computer science exploration, collaboration, creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning before high school. Classroom additions at Weeks will make room for enrollment growth.
Thank you for believing in students and supporting this work. We have photos from the Brody Middle School event. Watch for more photos coming soon!
