What is the Ford ASSET program? The Ford ASSET program helps educate local students.

The DMACC automotive program hosted the Iowa Auto Dealers Association High School skills competition hands on performance test this past Friday. Prizes were awarded to all 8 schools + the highest scoring Sophomores from the written portion. Prizes totaled over $20k consisting of scholarships, tools, tool chests. Congratulations to all of the participants!!

On Friday, December 12, 2025, DMACC Automotive and the Iowa Automobile Dealers Association (IADA) hosted the hands-on portion of the Automotive Skills Test. The competition began back in October with nearly 270 high school students completing a written exam. The top eight schools advanced to Friday’s hands-on challenge, where students demonstrated real-world automotive skills in a live shop environment.
