NATIONAL ALUMNI COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP: APPLICATION NOW OPEN

This scholarship, established in 2013 by Grand View University’s National Alumni Council (NAC), is designed to assist students in reaching their educational goals. It is the donors’ hope that the recipients of this scholarship will seek to better their lives, and be positive role models for others as they work to improve their communities. NAC awards an annual $1,000 scholarship that is paid as two equal payments in the fall and spring semesters of the upcoming academic year. Hey y’all! My name is Ariel and I am a junior this year. I’m from a small town up north in Minnesota. I am double majoring in psychology and human services with a minor in business. I absolutely love the energy that our campus gives off and to see how many lives we can touch through networking. I am also on the Grand View women’s bowling team. Hey! My name is Landon and I am a part of GV United this year! I am a Junior with majors in accounting and business finance. Grand View is the perfect school for me because of the small class size. This year is gonna be great and I can't wait to make an impact on alumni and students!

My name is Alyssa Ellis and I am a junior nursing student with minors in psychology and honors. It is my first year on GV United and I am so excited to be more involved on campus! I chose Grand View because I grew up in a small town and feel that Grand View is the perfect mix of small-town community in a big city. I am involved on campus as a peer counselor and started a new group on campus last fall for students who have lost a loved one. ❤❤❤

Hi my name is Sarah Jordan. I am a junior here at Grand View with a Biology and Biochemistry major with a minor Chemistry. This is my first year on GV United. I am excited to get to know everyone and become more involved on campus. My favorite thing about Grand View would about the community of the campus and how easy it is to talk to almost anyone. Grand View has definitely become my second home. I am also involved with the Shooting Sports Team.

Hi, my name is Anna Tobongye and I am a junior here at Grand View University. My major is Biology/ Pre Med with minors in Chemistry and the HONORS program.

I chose Grand View because of the small size and I wanted to stay close to home. Along with GV United, I am involved with Student Ministry team, Biology club, and am a Writing Tutor!

My name is Rachel and I am a senior studying Spanish with a Business minor. This is my first year on GV United so I’m looking forward to getting to know you all! I love Grand View because the size allows for you to get to know your professors and fellow students. I am also involved in student ministries, Spanish club, & an editor for our student magazine Viewfinder.

My name is Hanna and I am a senior majoring in English and Secondary Education with a minor in the LOGOS honors program. While at GV I have been involved with choir, theater, and I have been an RA for 4 years. I have been a member of GV United for 4 years as well!
My favorite thing about Grand View is the sense of community that makes me me feel like I have found my home away from home.
