Please join us on Saturday, October 4th to help kick off our new “Read Across America Program” designed by board Member and former President Marlene Doby(ret principal King Academy). Hello family and friends! I wanted to remind you that "Giving Tuesday" is next week December 1, 2020! Please donate to our fundraiser to give children STEM Kits that they can use at home during this time. We also have a exciting You Tube channel if you type our name, Multicultural Educational Programs, then look under the "Big blue M". We have fun videos for children to follow with their STEM supplies and will continue to load new content each month. This month our wonderful volunteer Paul Nelson, a retired DM, School teacher, made videos for the Electrical kits from simple to more complex. Next month, his wife Louis Nelson, retired nurse, will teach with the human body book. Each family gets a book. Children will learn all the about the human body and be able to build it as they go! We have some terrific future doctors out there, and this may be the spark they need to take off! Therefore, we really need your donations! There are so many children at home with nothing to do after they complete their school work. Please, help us to continue to serve them and to provide a special kit for each family as they adjust to this new life style! Children get to keep all the outstanding hands on materials! We will begin to have pictures on the website in December! Thank you in advance for your support! Below is Nehemiah Chandler with our very first baskets we made up in October!
