A small group of students met with Work Experience Coordinator Jami Harvey to prepare for an upcoming Career Fair later in the month. These are students in their final year of 4+ and/or are actively looking for employment right now. We talked about what to expect and what to prepare. We also found and reviewed student resumes. Stay tuned for further updates!

💼 October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the important contributions people with disabilities—including those with mental health conditions and other non-obvious disabilities—make to workplaces and our economy.

Transition Iowa is proud to celebrate NDEAM and the skills, perspectives, and talents people with disabilities bring to the workforce every day. 💙
