Last weekend the IBA held their March monthly meeting. Thank you all who attended. The discussion covered display stands and accents ahead of next month's IBA Spring Show to help answer often asked question on the topic. Open study involved repotting a few trees and some styling. DaSu Bonsai also conducted a workshop helping a small group in planting Red Mulberry or Hawthorn Forest.

I regret to inform you that our upcoming Iowa Bonsai Association meeting scheduled for Saturday, September 20th has been canceled due to ongoing construction in the North Gallery and Garden Commons areas of our meeting venue. We were notified of this change on short notice, and unfortunately, the space will not be available to host our gathering.

We understand this may be disappointing and inconvenient, and we appreciate your understanding as the venue navigates the final stages of a major renovation project.

Thank you for your patience and continued support of the IBA.

Warm regards,

Scott Allen President, Iowa Bonsai Association
