This is our 15th Annual GV Youth Holiday Baseball Clinics. If anyone knows of kids in Grades 2-8, this is a great opportunity for them to work at their skills, during the holiday break, to prepare for the spring to begin. SAVE THE DATE! All GV Viking Baseball Alumni, the Alumni game will be on Saturday, September 26th, starting at Noon. Any Alumni can take on-field BP starting at 11:00am if interested. Cages will also be available for anyone running late!! 😁 GV Alumni will get the NEW VISITING DUGOUT at Lou Yacinich Stadium for the Alumni Game! After the game, feel free to stick around, bring a lawn chair, and tell old baseball stories. The GV Coaching staff will supply refreshments!

We'll be introducing the 2026-27 GV Roster, and any alumni that are able to attend.

Congrats to 2025 Grad Evan Borst, for being inducted into the Norwalk HS Hall of Fame this fall. Borst helped bring the Vikings back to the College World Series in 2025, and was named Heart of America Newcomer of the Year and 1st Team unanimous All-Conference selection. One of the Finest to wear a Grand View uniform! Congrats Evan

Congratulations to Evan Borst for being inducted into the Norwalk Hall of Fame!

Evan Borst, a 2021 graduate, is one of the most accomplished baseball players in Norwalk history. In 2020, he helped lead the Warriors to a state championship while earning First Team All-State honors and leading the state with a .506 batting average. In 2021, he earned Third Team All-State honors as a pitcher and finished his high school career with a 19-6 record, 222 strikeouts, and a 2.22 ERA. At Iowa Central, Evan was named a NJCAA Third Team All-American and ICCAC Player of the Year, recording 146 hits, 30 doubles, 7 triples, 15 home runs, and 100 RBIs. He later played at Nebraska and Grand View, where he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference shortstop after hitting .390 in 2025.

GV Baseball is excited to announce another professional baseball player in the Viking family. 2026 Devin Doyle (Waukee, IA) makes his professional debut last night for the Glacier Range Riders, located in Kalispell, MT in the Pioneer Baseball League. Doyle is 2nd in Viking History for career Saves record, and converted to the Vikings starting #1 pitcher in 2026.
