Celebrating Women of Chiropractic

In honor of Mabel Palmer’s birthday, June 5, National Women Chiropractors Appreciation Day honors all women of chiropractic. Mabel Heath Palmer was an American Chiropractor and anatomist. She was married to B.J. Palmer and was known as the “First Lady of Chiropractic.” She was one of the first female chiropractors in the world, paving the way for all who followed in her path.

On behalf of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, thank you for your many years of dedication to the chiropractic profession and for your support of our association throughout your career.

Whether serving your patients for all these years, your commitment to improving the health and well-being of countless Iowans has left a lasting impact on your communities and our profession. We are grateful for the example you have set and for the contributions you have made along the way.
