Des Moines Traditional School

Des Moines Public Schools 'Traditional' Elementary & Jr. High The first location was the old Jefferson Elementary at SW 30th & Park Avenue.

There have been several Des Moines Traditional School locations since it was founded in the 1976-1977 school year. Next the school moved to the former McKinley Elementary building off Fleur & McKinley Ave, sometime around 1979. Next location was Wright Elementary off SW 14th & Army Post Road. The school is currently located at Watrous Elementary, 2425 SW Watrous Ave.
