Internship/experience:
“I was an events intern at Hyperion Field club in 2022, where I assisted in many weddings, golf outings, pool parties, and business meetings. This past summer, I interned at Bankers Trust as the Human Resources intern. I got to grow my knowledge in HR and helped plan a 300+ employee celebration party!”

Delta Sigma Pi (President, Senior Vice President, Fundraising chair)

Running club (SVP, led running routes)

Favorite memory:
“Going on random Target, McDonalds, and boba runs, cooking in the kitchen, and goofing off with Jayna and Rachel until 1AM”

Future plans:
“Working part time at Hyperion Field Club as an event staff and studying for the Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional exam”

Internship experience:
“I interned at Allstate after my sophomore year, where I did decision analysis. This past summer, I worked for fairlife, where I researched the growth of competitors and made strategic recommendations to compete with this growth. Both were great internships that substantially added to my skillset!”

Kappa Mu Epsilon (Historian and Social Media Chair)
Peer Advisory Board (PAB) for Welcome Weekend 2024

Favorite memory:
“Watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days on the Thursday before fall break junior year as a huge group and eating a ton of snacks late into the night”

Future plans:
“Heading back to Chicago to work as a Digital Analyst at fairlife!”

Research:
“I did behavioral neuroscience research on ethanol intake and preference in fruit flies and researched the efficacy of pneumatic tourniquets!”

Why ADPi?
“I joined ADPi because I grew up with two sisters and missed them when I came to college. I wanted to be part of a community that felt like home and I found that in ADPi!”

Future plans:
“I will be working at Midwest Autism and Therapy Centers as a Registered Behavior Technician while working on a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology!”

💜SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Katherine💜

Archivist

Dance Marathon

Internship/research:
“I had an internship at Unity Point as a part of my senior capstone research project! I worked in the HELP program, which is a team of volunteers who visits patients who have increased risk of developing delirium. My research project focused on the relationship between delirium scores and patient disposition.”

Favorite ADPi Memory:
“One of my favorites memories was when we had a sisterhood at the house and we all decided to put on the old tank tops from 2010!”

Future plans:
“Attend an accelerated nursing program for one year and hopefully work as a nurse in the ICU!”

The Theta Eta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi is saddened to announce that the decision to close our chapter at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year was made in October. We are grateful for the time we have had at Drake University and for the strong connections our members make. We are proud of the efforts our members have made to foster connections with other chapters, participate in philanthropic events, engage in important conversations, and work hard to make a positive contribution to the community.

Our chapter will remain operational for the remainder of this academic year, and we will continue to utilize and live in our chapter facility, participate in philanthropy competitions, host sisterhoods, have social events, and attend Panhellenic Council meetings. We ask for campus and community support of our events and our members as we work through this transitional period.

All questions should be directed to Alpha Delta Pi’s Executive Office in Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you for respecting this decision and our members as we spend our last few months as a chapter together.
