Hello students staff families and friends of Hiatt,
Today marks the second day of Hanukkah. Also known as the “Festival of Lights,” Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish holiday. We pay respect to those celebrating this holiday in our community. Community is one of our four values at Hiatt Middle School. Happy Hanukkah.

Nancy Fregoso has recently been recognized by the University of South Dakot alumni association, who is honoring Nancy with a 30 Under 30 Award, recognizing outstanding young alumni who are making an impact in their professional and personal lives, and honoring their academic and professional achievements. We are very proud of Nancy and blessed to have her with us at Hiatt. Please take a moment to celebrate and congratulate her.

Holiday Extravaganza

As we head into Thanksgiving Break and begin to do your shopping. Please consider getting a few items that will go towards Hiatt's Holiday Extravaganza which is an in-school event we have in December before winter break. Students participate in fun activities such as cookie decoration hot chocolate and making ornaments. Students also receive a raffle ticket where a student could win a gift to take home.
