This is Ms. Terptra! She teaches Math an Environmental Science here at North Highschool. Terpta is very crafty and has a green thumb; in her free time, she loves to decorate, cook, gardening and do remodeling projects with her family. At home, her plants are her pets. This year she would like to travel back to Tanzania. We asked her about how she feel about teaching during a pandemic and she said, “I am thankful to have this job after suddenly coming home in the middle of COVID from Tanzania, Africa. I am thankful that I am able to do what I love and am passionate about.” Her faith motivates her to work hard every day. Her advice to students is “work now play later” and “you reap what you sow” (which means you eventually must face the consequences of your actions).
