Why should you get tutoring from me instead of someone else? I'm passionate about tutoring, I'm skilled at explaining things in various ways, and I have used the subjects I tutor in my daily and professional life. Some information about my background and credentials:
I took 5 years of Spanish in high school, plus some classes and a semester abroad in college which earned me a certificate of fluen
cy. Then I worked in a 401k call center, assisting customers in Spanish and English. I earned high marks and a number of customer compliments in this position. My major at Drake University was actuarial science, which requires extensive math coursework and skill to be successful at. I now work as an actuarial analyst, where I am surrounded by math on a daily basis. In addition to work, I spend some of my free time in Excel working on various problems to keep my mind sharp. If you're interested in learning Excel or something that involves it, I'd love to help. In other subjects I have no specific post-secondary credentials.
