Food, it’s what brings us together!

Thank you to Katie Harris from Edgewater for making this unique experience possible. Chef Sarah Winchell’s third year students and 8 residents enjoyed a family style lunch together that the students prepared. There were tea sandwiches, salads, sweet tea, peach lemonade, and caramel pecan rolls!

More multigenerational dining needs to happen and this was a wonderful opportunity! Thank you again to our guests for this wonderful opportunity.

Our first-year students are officially getting their hands on the fundamentals, starting with one of the most important skills in the kitchen: knife cuts! 🥕🧅

Building confidence, consistency, speed, and safety one cut at a time. The kitchen is officially back in action, and we’re excited to see how much this crew grows this year! 🔥
