Virtual Campus is proud to welcome Emily Lewis to our incredible staff for the coming 2026-2027 school year!

She will take over English 1 & 2 and AP Lang courses. Ms. Lewis has extensive experience working with students across various grade levels, including grades 7-12. She currently serves as the conference chair on the board for the Iowa Council of Teachers of English and also serves on the Committee against Censorship on the National Council of Teachers of English.

We are thrilled to have her as part of our teaching staff for the coming school year!

Virtual Campus is proud to welcome Maggie Farwig to our incredible staff for the coming 2026-2027 school year!

She will take over Business and Economics courses following the retirement of Mr. El-Baroudi, long time veteran teacher at DMPS.

Mrs. Farwig began her career teaching English in Beijing, China and has since expanded her experiences as a high school business teacher and middle school math interventionist. We're excited to have her as part of the team!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing what comes next!

Last week, our Mrs. Christiansen and Sra. Pudenz took students on a field trip to Sculpture Park in Des Moines. The weather was a beautiful day and the students had a great time learning about the various works of art presented!
