The classroom is set, the binders are ready, and another group of future pilots is about to begin their journey! ✈️

Tonight kicks off our June Private Pilot Ground School, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome a new class of students to Vertical Vision Flight Academy.

Over the next several weeks, these students will build the knowledge and confidence needed to take the next step toward earning their wings. From FAA regulations and aerodynamics to weather and navigation, it all starts here.

Turns out she’s not alone. Our students and instructors flew out to pick up the newest addition to the fleet, N121LM, and now both aircraft are making their way back to Des Moines together.

Huge congratulations to Brenden on officially earning his Private Pilot License on the FIRST try!

Brenden has absolutely been crushing it throughout his training and it’s been awesome watching the hard work, dedication, and consistency pay off. Passing a checkride on the first attempt is no small feat, and this is just the beginning of an exciting aviation journey ahead.

Joe made the journey all the way from Northwest Iowa, knocked out his multi-engine rating in just a few days. What’s next? He’s already got his eyes set on earning his seaplane rating and plans to do some flying in Alaska this summer. Joe’s sky-high adventure just keeps climbing!

Big month for Blake! 🎓✈️

Not only did he graduate, but he also passed his Private Pilot checkride on the first try and officially became a pilot. Huge accomplishment and even bigger things ahead.
