Yesterday our teachers participated in a day long professional development event.
After a breakfast buffet, faculty from the Derry and Nashua location took part in the training, “Creating Engaging Classrooms Through Consistency and Routines”, presented by Bekah Kistler. Bekah is an Early Childhood Coach & Consultant who specializes in Child Development and Pediatric Behaviors. Bekah is also a sleep coach and postpartum Doula.
Bekah provided an insightful and engaging training that the teachers truly enjoyed.
Now the true test is applying these techniques into our classrooms to provide the BEST learning experience for your children!

Our Fall Festival was fall-tastic!

We had such a great time welcoming fall with our families! From yummy treats and fun activities to our very own pumpkin patch, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made it such a fun-filled family event! We’re so grateful for our wonderful Goddard community.

“Grandparents are the roots that help us grow.”

We were lucky enough to have the most wonderful visitors for an Afternoon Tea Party to celebrate Grandparents Day!

It was such a special afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, sweet moments, and lots of love. We are so grateful to all of the grandparents who joined us and made the day extra special for our students. What a wonderful and heartwarming way to start the weekend!

We are proud to recognize a special family whose cousins have all graduated from our school. It has been an honor to be part of each of their educational journeys for the past 16 years and to celebrate their accomplishments along the way.

We hope to continue building lasting relationships with families and celebrating milestones like this for years to come.

Back-to-School Food Drive!

This September, we are proud to partner with End 68 Hours of Hunger Derry to help support children in our community facing food insecurity.

Meet Wanda the Wandering Wagon! She’ll be in our lobby throughout the month collecting non-perishable food donations. These donations help provide meal bags to Derry children who may not have reliable access to food between school days, from Friday through Monday.

We were so excited to welcome back two of our very own Goddard alumni, who now volunteer with End 68 Hours of Hunger and helped make this wonderful partnership happen! We love seeing our Goddard family continue to make a difference in our community. 🥰

Our students explored this week’s inquiry question: “Does it sink or does it float?” They made predictions, tested different objects, and discovered what happens when we put their ideas to the test!

We love watching our little scientists learn through hands-on exploration, curiosity, and a whole lot of fun!

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
