The East Beauregard Band family is heartbroken by the loss of one of our own.

There are some students who leave a permanent place in a program and in the hearts of the people around them. He was deeply loved by his friends, his teachers, and his band family, and his absence is felt by so many.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, classmates, and everyone who loved him during this incredibly difficult time.

Once a Trojan, always a Trojan. ❤️💙

You were loved. You were wanted. You mattered. You will be deeply missed.

Read the obituary of Kaiden James "K" McCrary from Leesville, LA. Leave your condolences and send flowers to the family to show you care.

Just an update for tomorrow:

Rehearsal will still start at 7 am, as previously stated. Our Show Off will begin at 6 pm, Grill and Chill will follow! Students can bring water guns, water balloons, etc to celebrate the end of a successful 2026 Band Camp!

Please keep an eye out for updates regarding location of the Show Off. Depending on the weather conditions tomorrow, we will either be on the field, or in the old gym for our performance. Parents, Guardians, and siblings are welcome to stay, eat, and play too!

Students— please remember to bring your blacks to change into for our performance! You will be released at 5 PM to change and set up for performance night.

It truly takes a community to build a band program, and today our hearts are so full of gratitude.

A huge thank you to the Tabor/Vice Family, First National Bank of DeRidder, and our anonymous donor for your incredible generosity. Because of your support, our students now have the supplies they’ll use throughout band camp and the school year to learn, grow, and succeed.

These gifts are so much more than boxes and supplies, they’re an investment in our students, our program, and the opportunities we’re able to provide. Your kindness reminds our students that they have a community standing behind them, believing in them every step of the way.

On behalf of the East Beauregard Band, thank you for making a difference. We are beyond grateful for your support and can’t wait to put these supplies to good use. ❤️🎶

Please help us thank these amazing supporters in the comments below!

Attention Parents!

🎶 What is a Band Booster? 🎶

A Band Booster organization is simply a group of parents, family members, and supporters who work together to help our band program succeed. From volunteering at events and helping with fundraisers to chaperoning trips and supporting students, boosters make so many of the opportunities our students enjoy possible.

The best part? If you have a child in band, you are already a Band Booster! There are no special qualifications, just a shared goal of helping our students have the best experience possible. Whether you can volunteer often, help occasionally, or simply cheer our students on from the stands, every contribution matters.

A strong band program is built on a partnership between students, directors, and families. When we all work together, we create opportunities our students will remember for a lifetime.

📅 Join us for our first Band Booster/Parent Meeting!
🗓 Tuesday, July 28
🕠 5:30 PM
📍 Old EBHS Band Hall

We’ll discuss the upcoming marching season, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and ways you can help make this year a success. We hope to see every band family there!

Thank you for being part of the Trojan Band family. Let’s make this our best year yet! ❤️💙🎶

As we continue to grow and improve the East Beauregard Band program, we’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist of items that would help support our students throughout the year.

Please know that there is absolutely no expectation or obligation to contribute. We understand that times are tough, and your encouragement, attendance at events, and support of our students already mean so much to us.

However, if you are looking for a way to help our program and are able to do so, any contribution—big or small—is greatly appreciated. Every item helps us provide better experiences and opportunities for our students.

Thank you for always supporting the East Beauregard Band family. ❤️🎶
