We are a Christian child care program for 0-5 year olds. We offer a 2, 3, or 5 day a week programs. We are excited to announce our NEW director, Mrs.

We recognize that play is the child's work and that through play, children learn to interact with others in an acceptable and loving way.

We have a caring staff that is devoted to the children that attend MCLC. Natalie Ruano who recently retired from teaching after 32 years of dedication. She is excited in her new endeavors as the Director of MCLC and has a great staff listed below that she works with:

Our rooms are set up in learning centers where a child can manipulate materials, create with blocks and paint, and use language to develop important concepts. Teachers introduce activities that are appropriate to the child's developmental level and are aware of of child's interests and unique characteristics. We are a certified Class B licensed day care facility. Standards for state certification are strictly adhered to: teachers are trained in CPR and first aid procedures, state and national background checks for staff are maintained, and safety and security measures are enforced. Teachers receive 12 hours of in-service each year and are encouraged to continue their education that is partially funded by MCLC. The MCLC is a ministry of First United Methodist Church and is governed by a Board that is ultimately responsible to the Church Council. Day to day operations of the MCLC are under the administration of the Director.

Messy hands can mean meaningful learning! 🎨

Activities like painting, drawing, and crafts give kids opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills, explore their creativity, and express themselves in new ways.

At MCLC, learning does not always look like pencils and worksheets. Sometimes, it looks like bright paint, tiny handprints, and a whole lot of fun. 💜

Leaving your kids in someone else’s care is never easy, so hearing words like these from our families means more than we can say. ❤️

Haley shared that her boys aren’t just “watched” at MCLC. They’re loved, nurtured, encouraged, and supported by a team that takes the time to understand who they are.

That’s always our goal: to make sure every kid who walks through our doors feels known, cared for, and completely at home here.

This week, MCLC is going camping! 🏕️

From exploring nature to using our imaginations through camping-themed activities, this week's lessons are all about discovering the outdoors while building confidence, creativity, and independence.

Along the way, we'll be talking about God's creation, practicing teamwork, and learning from the story of Daniel's faith during Bible time.

This week at MCLC we’re getting active, working together, and having fun! Through games and movement, our little learners will be practicing teamwork, building confidence, and learning that cheering on our friends can be just as important as crossing the finish line.

Our Bible focus this week is David and Goliath, reminding us that with God's help, we can face big challenges with courage.

We can't wait for a week full of movement, learning, and lots of smiles!

⭐We're so excited to celebrate Ms. Khloee as our Teacher of the Month!⭐

Ms. Khloee has a true gift for helping children grow with confidence and independence. Whether she's encouraging them to try something new, celebrating their accomplishments, or supporting them through everyday challenges, she always meets each child where they are and helps them shine.

Her classroom is filled with meaningful learning experiences, hands-on activities, and plenty of encouragement. Just as importantly, she has built wonderful relationships with her families, who consistently share how much they appreciate her care and dedication.

We are so grateful to have you as part of the MCLC family!

Through stories, imaginative play, hands-on activities, and creative exploration, our little learners will discover the wonder of space while building curiosity and confidence along the way.

During Bible Time, we'll learn about David and Goliath and how trusting God can give us courage to face challenges, no matter how big they may seem.
