We are so excited to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who keep our Jets flying high every single day! 🚀💚 This year’s theme is all about taking flight—and we’ve got a full week planned to show just how much we appreciate our amazing crew!

🛫 CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF: HERE’S THE FLIGHT PLAN 🛫

Monday – Fuel up for the flight with fresh cinnamon rolls to kick off the week!

Tuesday – Each staff member will receive an Amazon gift card—a little something for our VIP crew 💫

🍿 Wednesday – Sky Lounge Refuel Lounge Stocked lounge to keep everyone soaring all day!✨ BONUS: 10-minute massages available (also on Thursday!)

💆‍♀️ Thursday – Relax & Recharge! Take a moment to unwind with a 10-minute massage—because our crew deserves it!

🌮 Friday – Final Approach Fiesta! We’re landing the week with a nacho bar in the staff lounge—because what’s better than a delicious finish? 😍

Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment Week is here! Reminder: Each elementary school will host an optional special visit and school tour opportunity tonight, Tuesday, April 21, from 6-7PM. We hope to see you there!

If your child will be five years old on or before August 31, 2026, the first step to enrolling is completing Kindergarten Intent to Enroll between April 20-30, 2026. Don’t miss this important window to secure your child’s spot and start their exciting journey in Derby Public Schools!

✅️ Visit derbyschools.com/Kindergarten to find the intent to enroll form, required paperwork and school readiness resources.
✅️ Complete the quick Intent to Enroll form between April 20-30.
✅️ Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency (current water, gas or electric bill) to your child's school office between April 20-30.
✅️ Fill out your child’s Ages & Stages Questionnaire online.
✅️ Considering a school transfer? If you live within USD 260 boundaries and wish to request a transfer to another Derby elementary school, you must complete both the Intent to Enroll form for your home school AND submit an in-district transfer request.

*Note: If you do not complete the intent to enroll form and bring in the required documentation between April 20-30, you will not be guaranteed a spot at your child’s home attendance/neighborhood school.

Because of your incredible support, the PTO was able to provide boxed meals for all of our teachers and staff during their late night of conferences! 🥪👏

Long evenings like these take a lot of extra energy, and we wanted our teachers to feel appreciated, supported, and taken care of — and we couldn’t have done it without YOU.

Every donation, every signup, every show of support truly makes a difference. Thank you for helping us continue to support the amazing educators who pour so much into our kids every single day.

We’re so grateful for this community and excited for all the ways we’ll continue to show up for our school together! 💛💚

🎄💆‍♀️ A Little Holiday Pampering for Our Amazing Teachers! 💆‍♂️🎄

This holiday season, the Stone Creek Elementary PTO was excited to organize mini chair massages as a small thank-you for our incredible teachers and staff! Each teacher enjoyed a relaxing 10-minute chair massage, provided by the wonderful Key 2 Touch Massage Therapy, LLC, and it was such a well-deserved moment of rest and appreciation.

Our teachers give so much of themselves every single day — and they truly deserve all the pampering in the world. The smiles, relaxed shoulders, and gratitude we saw said it all! 💚

Thank you to our Stone Creek Elementary teachers for everything you do for our students, and thank you to our PTO families for helping us make moments like this possible. ✈️✨
