Today was our first Character Strong Assembly of the year. We started with a KINDNESS KICKOFF game and celebrated four students who scored a perfect score on the 2025-2026 Kansas Assessment. Way to go, Derby Hills Dragons!

Reminder: This year’s Back-to-School Event will be held on Monday, August 10th and will consist of one-on-one scheduled conferences with your child’s teacher.

Aug. 10th
8:00 am – 12:00 pm
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

We are planning on releasing Class Lists to families and teachers soon. Our major hold up is assigning class lists to the students who have yet to enroll. If you have a returning student, please complete the enrollment verification screens on Skyward as soon as possible. If you have a new student or need help enrolling, please come by the office or call. We have staff available to help you with the process.

Instead of the traditional "Meet the Teacher Night," all elementary schools are scheduling 10-minute, individual conferences with your homeroom teacher. Families can bring supplies, meet the teacher, ask questions, and get answers. Once we enroll students and complete class lists, parents can schedule these conferences on Skyward.

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open!

Returning and pre-enrolled students should complete online enrollment as soon as possible. Enrolling early helps our schools finalize class lists, student schedules and preparations for the new school year.
