We enjoyed our annual Christmas Pizza Party today. We had so many wonderful desserts as well! We even took a group photo! Several students started their Christmas break early, but we got a photo of those who were present.

One of our former students is away at boot camp and won’t be home for the holidays. Each of our students wrote a postcard for him. Though he’s away, we want to wish him a Merry Christmas. These postcards will be stamped and mailed tomorrow.

We didn’t get one of everyone, but we did get most people. Thank you to the parents and grandparents that attended our Thanksgiving Feast.

Announcements:

1. No school on Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

2. Our annual Thanksgiving Meal will be on Thursday, November 20th. We will all have lunch from 11:45 to 12:30. Students are asked to bring a side dish to share. Parents are welcome to join. Please RSVP a head count so I can ensure that we enough chicken for everyone.

Unlike traditional public or private schools, De Beau Microschool has a Summer Semester. The Summer Semester allows students the opportunity to catch up or get ahead. We had an average of 10 students that attended all or part of the Summer Semester. During that time, we had one student complete a set of books. Help us give her a big round of applause!
Fall Semester, here we come!
