🧪🍞 Mad Science Monday! 🍞🧪

Our kindergarten scientists were back in their lab coats and goggles today for another hands-on experiment!

This time, we used slices of bread to investigate how germs spread. 🦠 We passed and touched the bread with different hands to see what might happen when germs hitch a ride from person to person. The reactions alone were priceless!

Now our bread is tucked away and the hardest part begins… WAITING! 👀 We’ll be observing the slices over the next several days to see what changes occur.

Learning about germs + making predictions + a little bit of gross = the perfect Mad Science Monday! 🥼🔬🧫

September Dress up Days
September 15- Dot Day - students may wear a polka dot top with uniform bottoms.
September 22- Fall Pictures - students may wear free dress (must follow CPSB guidelines - closed toe shoes only)
September 25- Johnny Appleseed Day- student may dress like Johnny Appleseed, wear a red top or shirt with apples and uniform bottoms.

☀️🍫 Foodie Friday with a little science! 🍫☀️

Today our kindergarteners used the power of the SUN to make pizza box solar oven s’mores! We watched, waited, melted, and of course…TASTED! 😋

And because it’s Louisiana…we even added some netting to keep those pesky love bugs out! 😜

Science + S’mores = One SWEET Foodie Friday! ❤️🍫☀️

🧪🦠 Kindergarten’s “MAD SCIENCE MONDAY” IS HERE! 🦠🧪

We’ve been learning all about germs and handwashing! 🧼 After reading Pete the Kitty: Wash Your Hands on Friday, our little scientists put their learning to the test today for our very first Mad Science Monday!

Using Glo Germ Gel & Powder, we discovered that just because our hands look clean doesn’t mean they are! 🔦😳

Lots of glowing “germs,” lots of WOWS, and one lesson these little scientists won’t soon forget!

💛FOODIE FRIDAY IS BACK!💛

And just like that, one of our favorite kindergarten activities has begun with a brand-new group of little learners!

Our first Foodie Friday brought
💛🚌school-bus snacks 🚌💛, sticky little fingers, proud smiles, and lots of sweet memories being made.
