📸✨ Summer Camp Photo Dump! ✨📸

Can you believe we’re already more than halfway through summer camp? Time really does fly when you’re having this much fun!

We’ve been so busy creating unforgettable experiences that I haven’t had a chance to share everything we’ve been up to each week. While these photos don’t capture it all, they give you a glimpse into the incredible adventures we’ve shared together over the first six weeks!

🏄 Kicking off the first of our four Surf Camp sessions today!

Our Teen Group has been busy too, taking on adventures like disc golf, rec center days, library visits, hiking, a mechanics workshop, fishing trips, and joining in on many of our other summer activities.

And that’s just the beginning! Every week has been packed with hands-on STEM activities, creative art projects, exciting group games, park trips, new friendships, laughter, and delicious home-cooked meals prepared fresh every day.

The best part isn’t just where we’ve gone, it’s watching our Kids Zone kids and teens build confidence, discover new interests, encourage one another, and create memories that will last long after summer ends.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff, community partners, and families for making this summer so special. We still have plenty of adventures ahead, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! 💙☀️

🌊🏄‍♂️ What an incredible way to kick off our first Surf Camp of the summer!

Mother Nature couldn’t have been more on our side with stunning sunshine, perfect waves, and smiles that stretched from the beach to the ocean. ☀️🌊

Today, we welcomed five first-time surfers into the group, who bravely stepped out of their comfort zones and onto a surfboard for the very first time. Watching their confidence grow with every wave was nothing short of amazing! From first pop-ups to catching waves, every kiddo made memories they’ll never forget.

We’re so proud of every single participant for giving it their all, cheering each other on, and absolutely crushing it out there! 🤙

Here’s to an unforgettable summer filled with adventure, new skills, and plenty more waves to ride! 🌊💙

While we're just getting into the fun of summer filled with laughter, adventures, and memories with our Kids Zone kiddos, we know many of the families we serve are already beginning to worry about something just around the corner: back-to-school season.

For many families, school supplies can be a significant financial burden. At Neighbors For Kids, we believe every child deserves to start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and excited to learn. That's why we're already beginning to collect supplies to help ease that stress for the families who need it most.

We've created an Amazon Wish List filled with school supplies that will go directly to local children here in Lincoln County. If you're in a position to help, whether it's a pack of pencils, notebooks, backpacks, or any other item, every donation makes a difference.

What an incredible day at the Gleneden Beach 4th of July Parade! 🇺🇸

We loved seeing so many of our Kids Zone families, both new and old. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and helped make the day so special. 🥰

A huge thank you to Fleet of Flowers Volunteers and the City of Depoe Bay for creating such an awesome float. Our kiddos had an absolute blast riding in the parade!

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Gleneden Beach Parade Committee for their generous donation to Neighbors For Kids following the parade. Your support helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for the children and families in our community.

🌞 Summer Day Camp Starts Next Week!🌞

We are so excited to kick off our first week of Summer Day Camp next week! We're starting off strong with Legends & Ancient Civilizations, filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and fun. Check below for a sneak peek at some of the STEM activities, art projects, and games our Kids Zone kids will enjoy!

Our staff has been working hard behind the scenes all week putting the finishing touches on summer preparations, and we are so excited to finally welcome everyone back on Monday for another season of adventure and memories.

👀 You may even notice a sneaky silhouette hidden in the graphic… a clue for our first field trip… perhaps! Any guesses? 🤠

A few important reminders for families:

✅ Please complete all required field trip forms. Students must have completed forms on file in order to participate in field trips.

💧 Send your child each day with a labeled water bottle.

👕 Please pack a bag with a change of clothes.

👟 Closed-toe shoes are required for all kiddos.

We can't wait to kick off an amazing summer filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories. See you next week! ☀️❤️

As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our after school families. Thank you for your support, your partnership, and for trusting us with your children. We have shared so many amazing memories this year, and we are grateful to have been a part of your family's journey.

Our staff will be enjoying a couple of well-deserved days off before returning next week to put the finishing touches on summer preparations. We are excited to kick off Summer Camp beginning June 22nd and can't wait for all the fun ahead!

📧 Families with a confirmed Summer Camp spot have received a “Summer Camp Check-In" email, early this morning. Please take a few minutes to read through the information carefully and make sure all required forms and paperwork have been completed.

If your child is currently on our Summer Camp waitlist, please know you have not been forgotten. We will continue to monitor enrollment throughout the summer and will contact families directly if openings become available. Families who received a "Summer Camp Check-In" email today have a confirmed camp spot.

Looking ahead, registration for our 2026–2027 After School Program will open in early August.

What started as a year-long joke from our Newport van riders finally became a reality! 🍟🚐😄

For the past year, our students have playfully begged us to make a stop at McDonald's, and on the last day of school we decided to surprise them with a special treat! Each rider today received a little something to celebrate the end of another wonderful school year.

At Neighbors For Kids, we work hard to encourage healthy eating habits and help kids build positive relationships with food. We also believe that treats can absolutely be enjoyed in moderation and that sometimes the memories made together are just as important as the snack itself. ❤️

The smiles, excitement, and laughter made this surprise one we'll all remember for a long time.

Thanks for keeping us entertained with your requests all year long, Newport riders, we hope you enjoyed your well-earned last day surprise! 🎉🍔🍟

Today we celebrate our incredible preschool graduates, the future Class of 2039!🎓✨

It has been such a joy to watch these little learners grow in confidence, build friendships, and discover new things throughout the year. We are so proud of each and every one of them and can't wait to see all the amazing things their futures hold.

A heartfelt thank you to our preschool families for trusting us with your precious little ones. Being part of their early years is a privilege we never take for granted, and we are so grateful to have shared this journey with you.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to our amazing preschool teachers, Clover, Taylor, and Hondo. Your dedication, patience, creativity, and love for these children make such a difference every single day. Thank you for helping our students learn, grow, and thrive. ❤️
