Welcome back from our Nursing Department! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️❤

A new school year brings new routines, new classrooms, and sometimes extra anxiety. For students with developmental disabilities, transitions can affect sleep, appetite, and behavior, toileting, communications, and overall regulation.

Parent tips:

1. Re-establish consistent sleep and morning routines.
2. Review medications and make sure the school has current orders.
3. Update emergency contacts and health information.
4. Send in required health forms.
5. Let the school nurse know about significant changes in health, behavior, sleep, eating, or communication.
6. Give your child time to adjust to the new routine.

Healthy starts begin with good communication! 🗣🗣

Please keep us informed in changes in your child's health, medications, routines, and or needs so we can provide the safest and most supportive care possible. 💙

Our Chicken BBQ Fundraiser is on Friday, September 11th, at Beyond Learning Center and we are raffling off an awesome Buffalo Bills Kick-Off Season Mega Super Basket to be given away! 💙❤

The contents of the basket include a Bills winter hat, a pair of Bills koozies, Bills silicone cup, Mafia garden flag, Bills winter headband, Mafia striped socks, before it was cool Bills t-shirt, Bills lanyard, Bills ornament, 2 Bills stickers, Bills themed cooler, Josh Allen print on canvas, Bills windbreaker, Bills Lego football, Bills themed Snoopy blanket, Bills shopping tote, Josh Allen Cereal, Bills cups, Bills tablecloth, Bills napkins, and Bills plates.

This year the event will be catered by Chiavetta's!

Pick-up times for staff and parents will be from 1:30-3:30 PM.

Community pick-up times will be from 3:30-6:30 PM.

The BBQ Chicken Fundraiser offers a delicious menu featuring a half chicken, savory sides, and a roll with butter.

Guests will also enjoy several season kick off perks, including entry into a Bills merchandise raffle, the chance to meet the Beyond Learning Center mascot, and tailgate tunes that bring plenty of Buffalo pride.

The event is designed for convenience with easy drive-thru pick-up, ensuring no stress, just chicken, cheer, and community spirit.
