Aşağıdaki sorulardan bazılarını seçip uyku öncesi sohbetin bir kısmını İngilizce yapabilirsiniz. Hem çocukların lisana gönül bağı artar hem de uyku öncesi pratikle sözcükleri bellekte daha iyi tutarlar. Zamanla, konuşma için çok gerekli olan İngilizce düşünme becerilerini de geliştirirler.

What does "on edge" mean?

The phrase "on edge" means "feeling nervous" or "not calm and relaxed." When you are "on edge" you are either worried about or afraid of what might happen. Here are some example sentences:
- Parents are on edge as the school year will be very different this year due to COVID-19
- The politician didn't usually feel on edge before interviews. She was calm and ready to express her opinions even on the most controversial matters.
- The young graduate was feeling on edge before his first job interview.
- The spectators were on edge watching the final minutes of the football game.
