When students feel seen, supported, and connected, they show up. 🙋

And when they show up, they’re ready to learn, grow, and lead.

Last year, our students and families showed up in a BIG way.

👉 +2.3 percentage points in Average Daily Attendance
👉 +6.5 percentage points in Chronic Absenteeism

Those gains don’t happen by accident. They reflect strong systems, safe and supportive schools, and students who feel that they belong.

We’re proud of the progress. And we’re even more excited about even BETTER attendance this school year! Keep crushing it, y'all!

We’ve got more great news, y’all!

🟢 5 of our 6 schools just earned GREEN on the Colorado School Performance Framework — making us the ONLY charter network in the district with green schools from ECE all the way through 12th grade!

Green means our students are thriving, growing, and being set up for success at every stage of their journey. This is just the latest win from a series of incredible wins from last school year. When we believe in our students, they show UP and show OUT and show us WHO THEY ARE.

None of it happens without our amazing teachers and school leaders, who come to school every day with skill, heart, and unshakeable belief in our KIPPsters. We’re just getting started! 💚

The future of Colorado is being shaped right now in our hallways and classrooms 🎓

This past school year, KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy is #1 in the district for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) Median Growth Percentile and #2 in the district for Math Median Growth Percentile! Both of our high schools exceeded DPS and the state for SAT Math median growth percentile. These milestones reflect years of investment in rigorous instruction, strong advising, and a culture that tells every KIPPster: college and career success is within reach.

At a time when many are questioning whether this generation of students will surpass the last, our scholars are answering with results. We couldn't be prouder of the young leaders walking through our doors every day — and we can't wait to see where they go next.

Showing up matters— and last school year, our KIPPsters showed up like never before. 📅

We're proud to share that KIPP Colorado improved average daily attendance by 2.3 percentage points and reduced chronic absenteeism by 6.5 percentage points compared to the previous school year. THIS IS HUGE. That means our scholars attended, on average, 4 more school days than the year before.

Every day in the classroom is a day of growth, connection, and opportunity. This achievement reflects the incredible partnership between our families, who prioritize consistency and routine, and our school teams, who create environments KIPPsters want to be in every single day.

Thank you to every family who got their KIPPster to school, and every staff member who made our classrooms a place worth showing up for.

🎉 WOW! Our first week of school was truly one for the books. By Day 4 we hit 90%+ attendance — families, THANK YOU for showing up and showing out! 🙌

Systems ran smoothly, hallways buzzed with excitement, and the joy in every classroom was contagious. From first-day nerves to big smiles by Friday, this is exactly the kind of start we dreamed of.

Here's to a year full of learning, laughter, and community. We're just getting started! 💛📚✨

This past school year, our KIPPsters didn't just meet expectations — they shattered them. 🎉

A few of the incredible wins from across our region:
🌟 KIPP Northeast Denver Middle School exceeded DPS and the state for CMAS ELA and Math Median Growth Percentile.
🌟 KIPP Northeast Denver Leadership Academy is #1 in the district for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) Median Growth Percentile and #2 in the district for Math Median Growth Percentile!
🌟 Elementary and Middle School CMAS scores increased year over year in Math, and Elementary schools increased year over year in BOTH CMAS Math and ELA!
🌟 Chronic absenteeism is down 6.5 percentage points

Behind every one of these numbers is a KIPPster who showed up, a teacher who believed in them, and a family who partnered with us every step of the way. This is what's possible when a whole community commits to growth.

Today we officially kicked off the 2026-27 school year with 2,400 amazing Kippsters walking through the doors of our 6 schools— ready, on time, and hyped for what's ahead! 🙌📚

From day one energy to the countless memories still waiting to be made, this year is already off to an incredible start.

Leadership Summit is officially underway! 🎉

Yesterday, we kicked off a week of Professional Development and collaboration by bringing together the incredible leaders from all six of our schools and our Home Office.

Together, we're strategizing, prioritizing, and working tirelessly to strengthen our systems, align on our goals, and ensure we're ready to welcome students back on August 17!

We can't wait for an amazing 2026–27 school year. 💙💚

Because of the passion, commitment, and belief of our students, families, and staff, this year was nothing short of extraordinary.

🎓 Class of 2026 achievements:
✅ 99% admitted to college
✅ 2,300 college applications submitted
✅ 1,212 college acceptances earned
✅ $26.1 MILLION in scholarships awarded.

Our results happened because our students worked hard, our families showed up, and our educators led with relentless belief, high expectations, and deep love.

Happy Pride Month, y'all! 🏳️‍🌈

At KIPP Colorado, we know students thrive when they know that they belong. Every student deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported for exactly who they are. When that happens, they’re empowered to learn, lead, and pursue their biggest dreams.

This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ students, educators, alumni, families, and staff who make our schools stronger, brighter, and more welcoming every day.

Pride is also a chance to reflect on Colorado’s role in LGBTQ+ history. In 1996, the landmark Supreme Court case Romer v. Evans began right here in Colorado and became the first ruling to affirm constitutional protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation—a pivotal moment in the fight for equality.

At KIPP Colorado, we're committed to building school communities where every student feels they belong, their voice matters, and their brilliance can shine.
