We are so excited for Ms. Bre to join our director team!
Bre started her teaching career with infants and toddlers while she was in still in school, then transitioned to a full time two-year-old teacher. She stepped away from teaching for several years to become a Registered Behavior Therapist, working with children in various settings. When Bre came back to teaching, she spent some time as a preschool and prekindergarten lead teacher. She eventually moved to Colorado and joined our Racing Rabbit's classroom in 2024.
Bre has been training with the other directors in the school over the past few weeks as she is transitioning into being in the office. We are so thankful for her to share her expertise and knowledge with the rest of the school!

Inspired by the book It Looked Like Split Milk by Charles G. Shaw, our Racing Rabbits students made their own art splotches.
The classroom is focusing on sharing ways they can solve everyday problems such as accidental spills or knocking over a friend's construction. The students are practicing showing kindness and empathy with their peers when accidents happen. They are gaining exposure to the idea that something can be an accident, and something can be done on purpose. They are practicing brainstorming new ways to use tools to help them solve different tasks.

This week's inquiry question is: What makes a great pet?
For one of their activities, the infant classroom is looking at photos of their own family pets and practicing using gentle pets with stuffed animals.
The toddlers are reading books about various pets and playing pretend with stuffed animals!
The preschool students are creating animal footprints using different art materials such as paint and playdough, and learning how to care for pets.
One of the activities in the PreK class is learning about animal habitats and homes and discussing which animals could live in our homes.
