Real regulatory news for heavy-lift operators.

On Sep 1, Draganfly secured an FAA Section 44807 exemption for its Heavy Lift platform. That lets them operate above the standard 55-pound Part 107 limit.

Why it matters for cleaning work: wash rigs are heavy aircraft. Payload, tether hardware, and water all add up. Operators have been waiting on a real regulatory path above 55 pounds, and this is one company clearing it.

Keep it straight: this is a real exemption for one company, not a proposed rule. The Part 108 BVLOS rule is still pending and still not final.
