Hello ASU,
African Night is fast approaching and we have a few things we would like you to keep in mind.
~African Night will be on March 18th.
~ If you will be performing, your performance should focus on African pride and royalty; being proud of your African heritage and roots.
~You can showcase your talent via spoken word, poetry, skits, dance, instrumental display, songs, anything creative!
~You are welcome to perform more than once. However, all performances should be between 5-7mins.
~A week to African Night, there will be a mandatory viewing/audition of about 2 mins for all performances with the ASU officers. We will use this to know who will be performing and to figure out how best to organize the program. Failure to come to the viewing will result in not being able to perform on African Night.
~We are happy to hear any questions and suggestions that you might have! Shoot us an email at: [email protected]
~If you are interested in volunteering, please email us.
Thank you.
We will be seeing you soon.
