Great Ed mourns the loss of a legendary champion for public education, Bruce Broderius. As a teacher's teacher, Bruce spent his entire life working and fighting to ensure an excellent education for every child. He was one of Great Ed's most ardent advocates: he was a member of the founding board of "Colorado Protectors of Public Schools (COPOPS)" in 2004, and he collected signatures for every school funding ballot measure including Initiaitve 63 in 2022, when he circulated his petition twice a week at his physical rehab sessions.

His warmth, wisdom, support, enthusiasm, and humor is already deeply missed.
