π¦π₯ Week 1 of DCA Summer Camp was full of Dino-mite Discoveries! π₯π¦
Our campers had an unforgettable week exploring the world of dinosaurs through hands-on learning, exciting adventures, and plenty of fun!
𦴠The Schiele Museum visited us on-site with their incredible Fossil Program, giving campers a chance to become junior paleontologists and discover fascinating prehistoric treasures.
π We hit the road for exciting field trips to the National Whitewater Center and the Catawba Science Center, where campers explored, learned, and made lasting memories.
π¦ Wednesday brought a splash of fun with a giant waterslide, helping everyone cool off during the summer heat!
π¦ To top it all off, Miloβs Olde Ways Ice Cream Truck stopped by for a sweet treat that had everyone smiling.
π¨ Throughout the week, campers enjoyed tons of dino-themed crafts, games, activities, and discoveries that sparked creativity and curiosity.
Thank you to our amazing campers and staff for making Week 1 such a roaring success! We canβt wait to see what adventures await in Week 2! π¦π

Mrs. Bergerβs 2nd grade class had an egg-citing experience this week participating in the Lincoln County 4-H Embryology Program!
Our students loved learning about the life cycle of chickens and watching the chicks hatch right before their eyes. This hands-on experience gave them a chance to explore science in a fun and memorable way while learning about responsibility, patience, and the wonder of new life.
