We’re excited to see the Regis Innovation Challenge and Regis University represented at Colorado Startup Week!

Ken Sagendorf, Director of the Regis Innovation Center, John J. Sullivan Endowed Chair for Free Enterprise, and Professor will join a panel of Colorado higher education and innovation leaders for “Hidden Infrastructure: What Colorado’s Universities Offer Emerging Tech Founders.”

Also featured is Chapin Griffith, an Innovation Challenge mentor who went on to become CTO of Tot Friendly Homes who he mentored, showing how relationships built through the Innovation Challenge can continue well beyond the competition.

The conversation will explore the resources Colorado universities can offer founders working in areas like AI, robotics, quantum, and climate tech.

A good business idea should be easy to explain.

Try the one-minute test: What problem are you solving? How does your idea solve it? Who actually cares enough to pay for it?

You do not need a 30-page business plan to start testing an idea. Start simple, talk to potential customers, and keep refining from there.
