Parents play a crucial role in the educational system alongside educators and students. Our family ambassadors are actively involved in supporting our schools every day. They contribute by preparing meals for the students, decorating for assemblies, and sharing their diverse cultures.

To foster a positive culture in schools, it's essential to encourage families to participate and acknowledge their contributions. This morning, our Beacon family ambassadors earned certificates for their dedication, and we celebrated by raffling prizes and treating them to breakfast. This kind of engagement is what drives meaningful change in our educational Community.

Music is officially back at Kepner Beacon—and it feels amazing.

Thank you to the donor who gifted us guitars and to our teacher who’s bringing this program to life.

Our first concert is this Thursday. Big moment for our kids. 🎶

What do you do when you're waiting for a tow truck because You slide into a yard due to the icy roads? Make a Snow angel. Be careful on the roads. Winter is upon us. .magana.13

For some DPS students, this might be the only time they get a turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, cranberry and friends. I want to thank the Grant Beacon Middle School cafeteria staff for taking those extra measures for our students and families that we're able to attend.
