November 4th seemed so far away when I made the decision to run this campaign to put students first. My drive to pursue accountability and transparency, so that every student in Denver can truly thrive has been a journey I never could have imagined back in June. All of the friends and mentors I’ve made along the way, the knowledge I have gained and my unwavering commitment to the belief that we can create change together has been an energizing journey. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, donors, and incredible supporters who have helped me get to this day.
I hope I have earned the opportunity to represent District 3 on the DPS Board of Education. Let’s get this over the finish line! If you haven’t yet, get out there and VOTE or message me and I will pick up your ballot and deliver it for you!

So pleased to be endorsed by former Colorado Lt. Governor and DPS school board member, Barbara O'Brien, whose commitment to placing students first reinforces why I am running for DPS Board of Education, District 3. With 4 days left before the school board election, it is perfect timing to listen to today's interview with Barbara on the Boardhawk Podcast as she provides her thoughts on the current state of the DPS Board and superintendent. Barbara's words underscore why it is time to elect a school board that will lead with transparency and accountability. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-boardhawk-podcast/id1786789396?i=1000734440555. -

Posting this a little late but still feeling the power of these strong women! I was honored to sit with the women of Denver Cafecito, led by the indomitable Rosemary Rodriguez last Friday as we discussed our hopes and dreams for students in Denver!
It’s a beautiful night to knock on doors and hear how much people care about returning students to the focus of decision-making!
Just a week away, so go out and vote

With 25+ years of working with and serving on nonprofit boards, I deeply understand why accountability, oversight, and transparency are critical. And because I have always put children first, I am determined to see that DPS will develop actionable and immediate plans to close achievement gaps, dramatically improve school safety and return students to the center of decision making. Now is the time for real change so that ALL students in DPS can succeed. Please vote by November 4th. We have an opportunity to create the community that we all want to live in.
These DPS incumbent candidates don’t support school choice (Opinion) This election offers a turning point. Denver voters can choose leaders who bring urgency, competence, and a clear sense of responsibility to public education.
