A special message from our principal: “Greetings KCAA Family and a terrific Tuesday to you!!

As you may know, Denver Public Schools has achieved an accredited rating of green on the Colorado Department of Education’s (CDE) District Performance Framework for the second year in a row. And I’m so excited to announce that Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy has also achieved an accredited rating of GREEN!!

This is a major success for the school worth celebrating! Thank you to everyone of our stakeholders who have made positive contributions to make this possible. Please join us for our Back to School BBQ September 17, 2026 from 5-7pm where we will continue celebrating this wonderful achievement!

We are thankful to have a green rating AND we realize that we have work to do in order to maintain it. We are committed to the work more than ever and with your continued support, we are confident that we will do it!!
