Thanks to Stanley alum Rachel Waugh '08, founder and Executive Director of the Museum of Food and Culture, for visiting our MS to discuss the history of hummus. After learning about different styles of hummus and the 2010s “Hummus wars” between Lebanon and Israel, we finished by making and flavoring our own hummus with a range of ingredients and spices.

Room 5's celebration of their architecture unit featured a ballet studio, a bank, a hair salon, a navy base, an arena -- enough for an entire city!
